The best storage for the granary
Every year, the volume of grain production increases, and along with this, the issue of crop storage becomes more acute. Powers left over from Soviet times will not help much - they do not meet modern requirements. This is also understood by Ukrainian grain producers, who turn to the world manufacturer of grain-saving complexes "SCAFCO" (USA) for advice.
Worldwide
Currently, projects of SCAFCO Corporation are implemented in more than 80 countries of the world. These are the most diverse grain storage and transshipment systems. There are also storage structures for other bulk products, such as granulated polyethylene, granulated wood, compound feed, and some minerals. Using the latest automated design tools, the corporation's engineers design port elevators, flour mills and breweries that meet the specific requirements of a particular country. Along with this, SCAFCO develops and assembles a whole range of storage systems that are also suitable for small farmers. In the arsenal of the corporation there are also solutions for livestock farms - silage storages of various designs. In addition, the company offers equipment for cleaning, drying, airing and transporting grain. By the way, SCAFCO ventilation systems can be installed both in new and existing warehouses. They help effectively control grain infestation by insects and monitor moisture migration, reducing grain spoilage and saving money.
American quality
All these complexes are united by the fact that they are made with impeccable quality, thanks to which "SCAFCO" has established a reputation as a reliable supplier of grain-saving equipment. And this is not surprising, because all components are made in the USA. Wide corrugated steel sheets, strong stiffeners made of galvanized steel and reliable roofs with box ribs are just some of the features that characterize the quality of the corporation's equipment. At the same time, it should be noted that "SCAFCO" uses only galvanized steel with a zinc coating of 350 g/m2. That is why storage facilities made of such material are quite durable and can work for many years without rusting. The design of granaries is so clearly thought out that their collection takes place in a very short time. Thus, the installation of the port elevator for the company "Nibulon" lasted up to 12 days for one container. At the same time, the work was performed without the use of lifting mechanisms - by the build-up method. Today, this transhipment terminal is not only the pride of the Nibulon company, but also one of the landmarks of modern Mykolaiv.
02.12.2008 SCAFCO installs grain storage facilities at NIBULON's elevator facilities Smotrych, Ukraine, - on July 29 NIBULON, a leading agricultural producer and one of the largest grain exporters in Ukraine, held a grand opening of its new 66,000-ton elevator at the Smotrych branch in the village of Kamenka, Khmelnytskyi region. SCAFCOGrain Systems (Spokane, Washington, USA) installed equipment consisting of 12 silos made of corrugated galvanized steel, each 21.96 meters in diameter and with walls 17.37 meters high. The new equipment can receive grain from two trucks at the same time, using two parallel receiving hoppers and a conveyor with a rate of acceptance of 6,000 tons per day. The project also included two dryers, which, working simultaneously, can dry about 2,000 tons of grain per day. Installation began on April 24, and already on July 11, the equipment made the first acceptance of grain. In 2005 SCAFCO delivered four 6089ES model silos to "NIBULON" in Nikolaev, each with a capacity of 6169 tons of grain. In 2008, SCAFCO put NIBULON on the elevator in the village of Kamenka 12 silos model 7257ES, each with a capacity of 6500 tons. Also this year, SCAFCO installed three 4868ES model silos, each with a capacity of 3,000 tons, at the NIBULON elevator in Vradievka 30.06.2009 An oil extraction plant was opened in Kirovohrad The new oil extraction plant "Kreativ" was originally designed according to the most modern technologies for processing oilseeds. Automatic production lines, automated workshops are equipped with technological equipment (a total of over 3,000 units) of the world's leading manufacturers, of course, foreign ones - the Argentine company "Aloka", the North American "Scafco" (SCAFCO) and the Indian "Troika". According to Stanislav Berezkin, the company's high-tech equipment will allow the oil extraction plant to process not only sunflower seeds, but also rapeseed and soybeans (rapeseed and soybean oil is also used in food preparation). Thanks to the computerized production process control system, the reconfiguration between different types of raw materials will take a few hours. The MEZ will be able to "switch" to any of the three types of oilseed crops quickly and without loss during one agricultural season, depending on the current requirements of the buyer.
